Ozobots Parade

Using Ozobot robots, students in Kindergarten – 5th grades add embellishments to their bots and create a segment of the parade route using markers to code.

One of the reasons I like Ozobots is that they are a unique way to present the concept of algorithms to my students. We do have other opportunities to code with other robots using block coding – but Ozobots present a different way to code and my students enjoy them. We typically use Ozobots once a year, so by the end of their elementary STEAM “career” – students have engaged in at least seven Ozobot challenges.
