Pinning from Facebook

Ever find something on Facebook that you wish you could pin to one of your Pinterest boards?  It’s easy to do that when you open the Facebook post’s link.  Many times the post leads to a web page or a YouTube video.  Pinning from those types of posts is easy.  There are times when a Facebook post won’t open outside of Facebook.  One alternative is to save the post within Facebook, kind of like a bookmark of sorts.  Or, maybe you’d prefer to pin it to Pinterest and have one spot where you save things.  I recommend pinning Facebook posts that are public, that way when Pinterest users click your pin, they can visit the Facebook post.  Additionally, public posts are already visible to everyone on the internet, as it was the individual who posted it on Facebook who chose to set the privacy setting to public.  In the example below, I found a great math video by Mr. Elementary Math.  He shares how to use an interactive number line with kindergartners and first graders.  I wanted to pin this to my math board, so it was readily available for future reference (with my other math pins).
