This is a yearly challenge. Each grade level works on a STEAM challenge, after reading a book!
- 4K: The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
- 5K: The Three Bears
- 1st: The Three Pigs
- 2nd: Muncha, Muncha, Muncha
- 3rd: If’ I Built a Car
- 4th: After the Fall
- 5th: Waterslides
It is a two week challenge.
Week 1: Read book, brainstorm, draft ideas, go shopping, and start building.
Week 2: Finish building and test.

A few changes for the next time we do this:
- Have all grade levels use SEESAW app to brainstorm prototypes AND materials list
- Find BEAR stuffed animals for 5K
