This challenge combines cardboard/recyclables engineering, business model formation, robotics, and green screen technology. All that on top of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication. It’s chock full of learning opportunities.

The pictures and videos in this post are from the first time we did this challenge (our second year of having STEAM). We will do the challenge once every six years, so the next time we do it there will be some changes made to reflect new materials we’ve aquired and growth as STEAM students (skills and knowlege).
- Size constraint more rigid
- Research truck attachment techniques and strategies
- Potentially add digital media creation component (create menu)
- Have groups add one circuit (at minimum) to their truck
- Revamp budget sheet and differentiate (K-2, 3-5)
- Teach moderation and “editing” when decorating
- Teach decorating based on Food Truck *THEME*
- Research local food trucks
- Invite in local food truck ownwers as guest speakers
