We start our year of with a short study of apples. As usual, our unit studies center on rich informational texts with a sprinkling of fiction texts as well. Check out the pictures below, as well as the downloads available that help support us during this unit study.

I loved this unit and have used it many years from your old website. Thought I’d download a crisp new clean copy. I can’t get it to download….just an FYI. But to anyone who is wondering….my kids always love this unit! We are from Westchester County in NY, so apples are big here. We get all different varieties (a local farmer helps me out) and have taste tests etc. It’s a very nice unit and a nice way to start the year!
